Training Programs

Foundations

This two-hour orientation program provides a general overview of who we are and what we are about. Team members will learn about diversity, our sexual harassment policy, company values and history.

Guest Service Gold

We do follow the comprehensive training program from American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI), is designed to create service-oriented line level employees who know how to engage with their guests and provide the best customer experience possible. Core components include training, employee certification and property certification.

Supervisory Skill Builders

During this week of joint training with the Alova Centre for Learning & Development (ACLD ), Managers at all levels will be familiarized with important subjects such as communication, time management, staffing and leadership. At the end of the program, supervisors have the opportunity to take their CHS (Certified Hospitality Supervisor) exam in conjunction with the ACLD.

Artistry Front Desk Training

Front desk team members will embark on a four-hour journey towards mastery of their positions. Attendees will learn incredible lessons on hospitality such as hospitality fundamentals, teamwork and communication.
By combining market-appropriate compensation, training, and benefits, we are able to retain our employees much longer—doubling the industry standard.  Alova Hospitality’s Director of Human Resources works with each hotel General Manager to ensure a safe and secure work environment, where our employees can grow and develop their talents.
